What's rising in Usurp Classic Constructed
World Tour Atlanta hosted Flesh and Blood's 100th Calling and the first Tier 3 Classic Constructed event since Usurp the Shadow Throne came out on September 25. If you're getting ready for Pro Quest season, this is your first real look at the format.
The winner: Oscilio
Thomas Battaglia won the 100th Calling with Oscilio, Constella Intelligence: a defensive counter-burn Wizard that plays lots of Instants to keep Comet Collision and Meteoric Impact online, with Burn Bare and Comet Storm at the top end and Voltic Veil and Cosmic Suture for prevention. The final was a close Wizard-versus-Kassai match. Chris Iaali's Top 8 Kassai of the Golden Sand list ran Arcane Polarity and High Current Currency as techs. Kassai is close to Living Legend status.
