End of the night at the Pilot Session, prize playmats in hand.
The 2026 Riftbound League at Rift Vault is officially underway! On Friday, October 2, players filled the shop at 72 Fendler St, East Tapinac, Olongapo City, for the Pilot Session. It was the first of 12 league nights running through December 18.
Every table in play
Every table was busy and the bracket stayed up on the wall TV all night. Ten players made the standings over three Swiss rounds of Best of 3. Plenty of matches went the distance, and several ended in draws, so every point counted.
Early standings
Waves leads the table after a perfect 3-0 night (9 points). pedi is second with 6 points, and VZGG March rounds out the top three. Check the league page for the full table.
How the league works
Entry is free and each session is capped at 12 players. You get 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, and a bye counts as a win. Your points add up across the whole season. If you link your store account, your matches also count toward your Elo rating and rank badge. Session 8 on Friday, November 27 is a Double Rating night. The Finale on Friday, December 18 is a catch-up points session.
At the end of the season, the top 12 all win prizes. First place gets a Gift of the Rift Bundle, and 7th through 12th each get a Rift Vault Riftbound playmat plus ₱200 store credit. (Full details here.)
Gear up for Session I
Want a mat of your own? The Riftbound Custom Playmat is in stock. Tuning your list? Singles like Sabotage, Zenith Blade and Icathian Rain are on the shelf, and there's more in the shop.
Next up: Friday, October 9, 6:00 PM
Friday Session I starts at 6:00 PM on Friday, October 9 at Rift Vault. There are only 12 seats, so ask the crew to add you to the roster and link your account so your matches are rated.
